Recording Video Conferencing/Videos of Our Classes

Using two different video recording systems specifically for Skype, Amy and I were able to record what our students saw while communicating with each other. These videos are bit grainy but they get the job done when it comes time talk about what we learned from each other.

Skype For Mac: There is a free version of Skype that I downloaded onto Mac. Video conferencing is made easy due to the built in camera on Mac computers. From there I purchased a recording device (a download) from ecamm network for $15. This recording device is compatible with a Mac, where as Pamela is not.

You can purcase this device at: https://www.ecamm.com/cgi-bin/shopping/cart?p=callrecorder

Pamela for PC:  There is a free version that I initially downloaded to give it a try.  After learning the basic components of Pamela, I decided it was time to spend the $24.95 to puchase the Professional version.  This was a step up from the free download or $12.95 version.  There are many differences between the three, but the biggest for our project was because it would record video and the other versions could not record video.  You can take a look at this recording device at: http://www.pamela-systems.com/products/.
